Williams Birthday Chocolate Castle

We have had a slightly late but very welcome,  Harrison's Favourite Chocolate Cake entry.  This is made by Harrison's other grandmother or Amah as the boys call her, Nicki and she has pulled out all the stops to make a splendid castle Birthday cake for Harrison's brother William's 4th birthday today!

Nicki made 2 sponges or double the recipe so that she had enough cake to make a square castle with a tall central tower all covered in butter icing. She then used chocolate covered wafers for the battlements and cones covered with butter icing and chocolate sprinkles topped with a malteser on each corner and for the top of the central tower.  Decorated with the number four in smarties, doesn't it look fabulous!

Don't forget the recipe this week is Anzac biscuits, a lovely healthy oaty biscuit that also keeps well.  Pics by Sunday if possible please and do tell all your friends and colleagues as well.
